What it is

Anthropic’s cheapest current model, built for high-volume, latency-sensitive work such as classification, extraction and routing. $0.10/$0.50 per 1M tokens up to 100K-token prompts.

The model that makes a multi-step agent affordable: let Haiku classify, extract and route, and call a bigger model only for the step that needs judgement.

Before you switch

Above 100K-token prompts the price jumps to $0.50/$2.50, which is more than GPT-6 Luna’s base rate. Long-context batch jobs belong on Luna.
