Role Description
We are looking for a software engineer to join CrowdStrike's global TechOps CICD Software Delivery Automation (SDA) team. You will collaborate with a high-performing, cross-functional team to design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows that power software delivery for millions of customers worldwide. This role focuses on CI/CD pipeline reliability, developer experience, and automation at enterprise scale.
What You'll Do
• Design & Build:
Develop scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions using modern DevOps toolchains.
• Developer Experience:
Create self-service tools and frameworks within the CI/CD space that reduce developer toil and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Reliability Engineering:
Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for our owned services.
• Collaboration:
Partner with engineering teams to establish best practices and provide technical guidance through pipeline creation and optimization.
Qualifications
• Strong coding abilities using an OOP language (i.e. Python, Java, Groovy, or GO).
• 4-5 years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on software development.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms within an enterprise environment.
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure services and architecture patterns.
• SCM experience including advanced Git workflows and branching strategies (Bitbucket, Gitlab).
Bonus Points
• Configuration management experience (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt).
• Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Logscale).
• Experience with GitOps methodologies (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Experience with IaC solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
