Blockchain Developer (Smart Contracts)

Our client, a forward-thinking innovator in the decentralized technology space, is seeking a talented and experienced Blockchain Developer specializing in smart contracts to join their fully remote development team. This role is crucial for building and deploying secure, efficient, and scalable decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of smart contract development, from conceptualization and design to coding, testing, and deployment. Expertise in smart contract programming languages such as Solidity (for Ethereum/EVM-compatible chains) or Rust (for Solana/Polkadot) is paramount. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to translate requirements into functional smart contracts that power innovative solutions. A strong focus on security best practices, rigorous testing (unit, integration, and security audits), and performance optimization is expected. Experience with common development frameworks like Truffle, Hardhat, or Foundry, as well as familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and NFTs, is highly beneficial. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate smart contracts with dApps. Participate in the design and architecture of decentralized applications. Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and smart contract development. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to smart contract execution. Contribute to the development of internal tools and best practices for smart contract development. Qualifications: Proven experience developing and deploying smart contracts on major blockchain platforms. Proficiency in Solidity and experience with EVM-compatible chains is essential.
