Job Title: SCADA Developer – Midstream Pipelines

Project Overview

This role supports a DOT-regulated midstream pipeline environment, focused on SCADA system migration and upgrade initiatives. The primary objective is to support the transition from OASyS SCADA to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, including development, configuration, and extensive testing.

The role begins at approximately 50% allocation, scaling up to 100% during critical testing phases.

Key Responsibilities
• Support migration from OASyS SCADA to AVEVA Enterprise SCADA
• Design, build, modify, and test SCADA displays, graphics, and configurations
• Execute and support system testing across multiple upgrade phases
• Work closely with Operations, IT, and Automation teams to ensure:
• System performance
• Regulatory compliance (DOT)
• Project timelines
• Contribute to development of SCADA support models for pipeline operations
• Interface with PLCs and field devices for automation integration
• Travel as required for testing and deployment support

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)
• Strong hands-on experience with OASyS SCADA (development, configuration, or upgrade)
• Proven SCADA development experience in midstream / pipeline environments
• Experience working in DOT-regulated systems
• Solid automation exposure, including working with PLCs and field instrumentation
• Experience in SCADA system migration or upgrade projects
• Ability to work in a flexible allocation model (50%–100%)
• US-based and willing to travel

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
• Experience with AVEVA Enterprise SCADA
• Strong experience with OSIsoft PI System (PI Historian) (+++ preferred)
• Prior involvement in large-scale SCADA migrations
• Experience in regulated oil & gas pipeline operations environments
