Job Title: AI Engineer - Databricks & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)

Location: Remote with sometime in Houston, TX office

Role Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer to build and deploy AI/ML solutions using Databricks and SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). This role focuses on transforming trusted SAP data into scalable AI-driven insights for enterprise analytics and finance use cases.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models using Databricks
• Develop data pipelines and feature engineering using Spark / Delta Lake
• Consume SAP data via SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere
• Enable governed, zero-copy data sharing between SAP and Databricks
• Productionize models using MLflow, model serving, and monitoring
• Partner with Finance, Analytics, and IT teams on AI use cases
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and enterprise standards

Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in AI/ML, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience working with SAP data (S/4HANA, CDS, Datasphere, or BDC)
• Experience building production-grade data and ML pipelines

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Generative AI / LLMs on Databricks
• Knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and Delta Sharing
• Cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS)
• Finance or FP&A analytics experience is a plus
