Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Ranking - Quora (Remote)

Responsibilities: • Improve existing machine learning ranking models using coding skills and ML knowledge. • Identify new opportunities to apply machine learning across Quora's product. • Collaborate with other machine learning engineers to implement algorithms efficiently. • Take end-to-end ownership of machine learning systems, including data pipelines and model training. Requirements: • Availability for meetings during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time). • 3+ years of professional experience with recommendation models. • Strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of machine learning algorithms. • Experience building end-to-end machine learning systems. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
