Python Automation Developer

Location: Remote
Nature of Collaboration: Contract Role with Opportunity for Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $10–$15 / Hour

We’re hiring a Python Automation Developer to design and build robust automation systems that interact with APIs, web platforms, and distributed services.

Key Responsibilities
Design and build automation systems and workflows using Python
Develop FastAPI-based services to orchestrate automation pipelines and expose internal APIs
Model and validate data using Pydantic and SQLAlchemy
Build automation systems that interact with third-party APIs, web platforms, external services
Handle real-world automation challenges including:
API rate limits
session management
captcha handling
-retries and failure recovery
Develop scalable background workers using Celery, Redis, Pub/Sub, or similar frameworks
Design and implement distributed job queues and automation pipelines
Build reliable end-to-end automation flows, including scheduling, orchestration, monitoring, and error handling
Collaborate with engineers to integrate automation services into broader systems
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code

Requirements
3+ years of experience as a backend developer in Python
Strong experience with Python backend development
Hands-on experience with FastAPI
Strong experience with Pydantic and SQLAlchemy
Experience building API-based automation systems
Understanding of automation challenges such as:
API rate limiting
captchas
session/token management
retries and failure handling
Experience working with Cloudflare-protected or bot-protected platforms is highly preferred
Experience with background processing frameworks such as:
Celery
Redis Pub/Sub
message queues
Experience building distributed or event-driven systems
Comfortable working with Docker, Git, and cloud environments
Ability to architect and build complex multi-step automation pipelines

Bonus Skills
Experience with browser automation frameworks (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium)
Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures
Experience deploying automation systems in AWS, GCP, or similar cloud environments
Experience building monitoring and logging systems for automation reliability
