VSoft Platform Reliability Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a VSoft Platform Reliability Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Infrastructure and DevOps teams supporting a major Vsoft implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: VSoft Platform Reliability Engineer

Location: Hybrid Onsite in Raleigh, NC preferred, but open to remote

Pay Range: Market Rate

What's the Job?
• Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and services.
• Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of new features.
• Support incident response and participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system uptime.

What's Needed?
• Proven experience in system administration, DevOps, or site reliability engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
