We are hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst with expertise in risk identification and vulnerability assessment , and a strong understanding of how cybersecurity impacts business operations.

This position will involve conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments across Maryland Judiciary systems, identifying potential threats, and helping define cybersecurity priorities. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure that the identified risks are understood and addressed in a business context.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments using advanced cybersecurity tools and techniques.
• Identify risks to critical business functions and systems, providing business-centric recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business and technical teams, to ensure that cybersecurity risks are understood and mitigated effectively.
• Map vulnerabilities to business processes, ensuring that findings are communicated in terms of operational impact.
• Support the overall risk assessment process by contributing to threat modeling and risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:
• Expertise in vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, and threat modeling.
• Strong business knowledge with the ability to translate technical vulnerabilities into business impact.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and related cybersecurity frameworks.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to present findings in a clear and business-relevant manner.
• Experience in the public sector is preferred but not required.
