Mistral’s 1.05T-parameter mixture-of-experts model with 52B active parameters, a 1M context, text and image input, and an open-weight release promised after the API preview. API pricing is $1.36/$4.18 per 1M tokens.
NLT take
The cheapest way to buy near-frontier output from a European vendor, and the only one here with a credible open-weight path at this size. The catch is that the weights are announced, not downloadable yet.

Open weights are “coming soon”: the Hugging Face repo is not public at launch. Public preview also means the API can change under you.
