Composer 2.5: Pricing, Context and Picks

What it is

Cursor’s in-house agent model: a 200K context, agentic tool use, a fast interactive tier and a lower cost per token than the frontier APIs. It is part of Cursor’s plans rather than a per-token public API.

NLT take

The pragmatic default if your team already lives in Cursor: no API key, no per-token bill, and it is tuned for the editor’s agent loop. It is not a model you can take to another harness.

Before you switch

No public per-token API and no Hugging Face or Ollama release. The only way to use it is a Cursor plan, so it cannot be compared on cost like the rest of the table.
