Own the entire data architecture for a portfolio of e-commerce brands and mobile apps,
building a modern stack that powers our AI layer.
The Challenge
We need you to centralize our fragmented data from mobile apps, websites, and marketing platforms into a unified BigQuery stack. You will manage the entire data pipeline. This means setting up orchestration, handling server DevOps, and keeping a strict eye on costs and security. A tiny mistake in architecture can quickly blow up our cost and risk profile. Day to day, you will monitor automated pipelines, step in when things break, add new data sources, and help the team improve their schemas.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you will aggregate our scattered data sources (currently living across CSV files, SQL databases, and Snowflake) entirely into BigQuery. You will grasp how our business intelligence layer sits on top of this data. From there, you will deliver a working proof of concept using dbt and an AI layer to run advanced queries directly on our data warehouse.

Requirements
• Can build and manage complex data pipelines from end to end.
• Can architect and maintain a data warehouse using BigQuery.
• Can integrate AI tools into a data stack for advanced querying and analysis.
• Bonus points if you also have
• Experience deploying and managing dbt.
• Background in handling performance marketing and attribution data.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and server orchestration.

• You just want to write SQL queries and hand off the infrastructure work to someone else.
• You hate marketing data. About 80% of our data involves marketing attribution, website analytics, and social media.
• You dislike the strict, careful management required for backups, security, and cost containment.
The Team
You will join a small data team, working directly with two team members who build dashboards and visualizations. Your main stakeholders are our 70-person performance marketing team and the product team developing our app. We are direct, fast, and care about quality. You will spend less than four hours a week in recurring meetings.
