About The Role As a key member of our engineering team, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing data pipelines that operate entirely within the browser environment. Your work will involve developing high-performance web components such as Web Workers processing Apache Arrow binary data, implementing persistent caching strategies within the Origin Private File System, and devising multi-layer invalidation mechanisms to ensure UI responsiveness amidst large datasets.
You will build sophisticated interactive visualizations including time-series telemetry, FFT frequency analysis, geographic mapping, and scatter plots, each demanding high accuracy and performance. Your expertise will help solve performance bottlenecks that typical frameworks cannot address, such as bypassing React’s render cycle for smooth 60fps interactions, coordinating worker thread pools, and managing memory across large binary buffers. Additionally, you will architect composable UI systems tailored for technical users requiring full data fidelity, working across the stack boundary and collaborating with backend engineers on API design, binary serialization formats, and structured data query semantics.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience developing software for the web, with a focus on performance optimization and platform deep-dives.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and experience working within React codebases.
• Deep understanding of system-level concepts including memory layout, thread coordination, caching strategies, and data serialization formats.
• Proven track record of building software where correctness and data fidelity are critical under constraints.
• Experience with binary data processing, GPU rendering, and multi-threaded architectures.
• Familiarity with browser threading and storage APIs such as Web Workers, SharedArrayBuffer, and OPFS.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects like custom caching layers, data pipelines, rendering engines, or developer tools.
• Background in domains with non-negotiable data correctness, such as aerospace, scientific computing, medical devices, or financial systems.
Responsibilities
