The Home team at Red Ventures is looking for a talented and experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to join our dynamic group. As a key player on our team, you will be instrumental in the development of our digital experiences, leveraging NextJS and TypeScript to support a diverse portfolio of brands within the Red Ventures Allconnect group. Responsibilities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to build and deliver high-quality user experiences
• Build and maintain dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js
• Design, build, and integrate backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve the system design over time
• Apply appropriate tools, services, and architectural patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with teammates to continuously improve code quality
• Pair program with team members to solve problems and share knowledge
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Monitor and maintain application performance using metrics, logging, and observability tools
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help improve development and deployment workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve the codebase, tooling, and team efficiency through automation and best practices
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team environment

Requirements
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building scalable front-end applications and reusable UI components
• Experience building backend services and APIs using Node.js, including REST and/or GraphQL
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application development
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
• Experience writing automated tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
• Understanding of Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrate a growth mindset by continuously learning, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team improvement

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform
• Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools such as New Relic or AWS CloudWatch
• Experience contributing to SDLC and team process improvements
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug issues and deliver effective solutions across the stack
• AWS certifications (Developer or Solutions Architect)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude
• Experience working with modern architectural patterns (serverless or event-driven systems)
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience building mobile applications
• Experience with Node.js ORMs such as Prisma or Sequelize
• Familiarity with WordPress.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Contributions to open source projects
