Performance Architects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in assisting with various projects involving data migration, transformation, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in utilizing technologies such as Snowflake, Oracle, Fivetran, dbt, Windows scripting, and Informatica Integration Cloud Services (IICS). Experience in migrating Oracle data warehouses to Snowflake and establishing reporting capabilities during the transition phase are desired but not required. You will be instrumental in supporting our clients' needs, leading business requirements gathering and creating (and executing on) a technical design to support those requirements.

Locations: Remote (anywhere in the US); Boston, MA Area

Core Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand data requirements, architecture, and objectives
• Working with business partners to understand the business requirements so that you can create a technical design to support those requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using technologies like Snowflake, Oracle, Fivetran, dbt, and IICS
• Assist in migrating Oracle data warehouse to Snowflake, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business users, and IT teams, to deliver high-quality solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to data engineering and analytics

Requirements and Skills:
• B.S. or B.A. degree in business, MIS, or equivalent required
• Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems such as Snowflake and Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools like Fivetran, dbt, and IICS
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes
• Experience with Windows scripting and automation tools is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in dynamic, constantly changing environments
