Senior Web Developer - REMOTE

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Web Developer. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the development of high-end client-server applications and web interfaces for critical programs. Your work will directly impact the usability and performance of applications that help manage disposal processes for military services and support disaster relief efforts. Strong customer relation skills and independence are essential as you will collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements and troubleshoot application issues.

Accountabilities
• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software for applications.
• Develop high-end client-server applications and web interfaces.
• Address systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform issues.
• Interface with clients to identify application requirements and perform feasibility analysis.
• Research, test, and coordinate the conversion/integration of new products.
• Troubleshoot software application production problems.
• Test and validate software for compliance.
• Develop user manuals and technical documentation.
• Engage in mobile development, including iOS applications and Xamarin.
• Integrate databases with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Implement performance optimization and security measures.

Requirements
• 10 years of experience in scripting, software development, and web design.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• Ability to work independently with no supervision.
• Skills in software architecture, design, and systems integration.
• Experience in RESTful API development and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with agile development and version control.
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and mobile-first development.
• Competence in performance optimization and security best practices.
• Technical expertise in HTML, XML, PERL, Apache, IIS, ASP.NET C#, and VB.
• Familiarity with SSRS, ASP.NET Core, Angular, iOS Mobile Development, Xamarin, and Oracle.
