Lead Frontend Engineer - React

Join an innovative team as a Lead Frontend Engineer, where you’ll take ownership of a live, growing web application and play a key role in leading frontend development. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving UI architecture, guiding a small team, and collaborating closely across product and engineering to deliver scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and innovate the design and enhancement of web applications using React.
• Take ownership of frontend architecture, ensuring optimal performance and code quality.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team of developers, including offshore colleagues.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and foster development best practices within the team.
• Identify and address any performance and scalability issues.
• Participate actively in system design and sprint planning.

Skills

• Extensive experience in frontend development, particularly with React.
• Proven technical lead experience with a solid understanding of architecture and code ownership.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and REST APIs.
• Experience in managing production environments and frontend architecture.
• Strong collaboration skills with product and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Next.js or similar Server-Side Rendering (SSR) frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments for streamlined development.
• Skills in performance optimization and ensuring accessibility standards.
• Exposure to data-driven or connected systems is a plus.
