Android Developer Needed to Build Live Streaming App

We are looking for an experienced Android developer to build a live streaming Android application. The app will retrieve channel and stream data from a JSON API and display the available streams inside the app. Users should be able to browse and search streams easily and play them within the application using a stable streaming player such as ExoPlayer. A key feature of the app is the ability to watch multiple streams simultaneously, with support for up to four streams playing at the same time on a single screen in a grid layout. The app should have a clean and modern user interface, smooth playback performance, and efficient handling of multiple video players running concurrently. The developer should have experience working with REST APIs, JSON data, and video streaming technologies such as HLS or similar formats. In addition, the freelancer will also be responsible for assisting us in setting up the Google Play Developer account and preparing the app for submission and publishing on the Google Play Store. Clean, well-documented code, the Android APK, and full source code will be required upon completion. Please note that we currently do not have any wireframes or UI designs prepared. The developer will be responsible for designing the user interface and overall user experience of the application. We expect the freelancer to propose a clean, modern, and intuitive layout suitable for a streaming application, ensuring the app is easy to navigate and optimized for phones, tablets and TVs.
