BCforward is seeking an Analytics Engineer responsible for building and owning the data layer powering Minecraft’s Creator API. This role focuses on designing scalable data pipelines and models that deliver accurate, privacy-safe creator metrics (views, acquisition, revenue, engagement) to API endpoints used by Marketplace partners and creators.

Sits at the intersection of data engineering and product, translating ambiguous creator and business needs into reliable, low-latency data solutions that support a growing creator ecosystem.

• Strong SQL + data modeling + transformation experience
• Experience building pipelines (Databricks or similar environments)
• Solid understanding of how data is consumed (APIs, dashboards, products)
• Working knowledge of data engineering + DevOps concepts (not required to be expert)

Nice-to-Have / Domain Fit
• Familiarity with creator ecosystems (mods, UGC, marketplaces)
• Understands how creators monetize and track performance
• Personal interest in gaming (must actively play games)
