The Communication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the communication team to ensure efficient and effective communication both internally and externally.
This role involves managing a team of communication specialists, setting communication strategies, and ensuring that messaging aligns with the organization's goals and values.
Supervise and lead a team of communication specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Ensure the team's workload is distributed effectively and that tasks are completed on time.
Develop and implement communication strategies that support the organization's objectives.
Oversee the creation of various communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, reports, and social media content.
Review and edit content to maintain consistency and quality.
Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists.
Act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary.
Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and protocols.
Lead the communication team during crisis situations to ensure a coordinated and timely response.
Facilitate effective internal communication within the organization, ensuring that employees are informed about company updates and initiatives.
Manage the organization's public image and reputation through external communication efforts.
Oversee the creation of marketing and promotional materials.
Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and strategies.
Make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in communication roles, with a minimum of  years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using communication tools and software.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in communication.
