Maintain petty cash ledger and daily posting of the same
Prepare petty cash reimbursement requests when depleted.
Ensure that vendors/suppliers, staff, and other recipients’ payment documents are correctly attached for processing of payments.
Ensure that all invoices, payments, and receivables are posted daily, and accurately and reports are sent to the HOD.
Quarterly and monthly bank reconciliation of AFSS accounts
Any other duties assigned by the Head of Finance & Accounts.
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments

Requirements

BSc in Accounting
4 years work experience.
Work experience as an Accountant
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the IFRS
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Sage
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Additional certification (ICAN) is a plus
